It is just a basic Yamaha YPG-235 keyboard, i think it cost $249.99 but it is ALL YOU NEED to create a full song.

I have also provided two links below to perfect keyboard pianos for this type of recording.

 (HERE ARE A FEW OPTIONS THAT ALL HAVE 5 TRACK RECORDERS ON THEM)

5 Track Recorder

                                               Basic 5 Track Recorder
The black buttons are the record button, track #1, track #2, track #3, track #4, track #5 and the drum track

(1) When you want to record (on this model at least) all you have to do is press the song button (right of the little screen in the middle)

(2) then scroll past all of the pre loaded music until you find song 1 -5 (for my keyboard and most others) these are 5 blank songs with 5 individual tracks for each song. so thats 25 tracks total ;)

(3) Then just press and hold rec and #1 at the same time. you should see something flashing on the screen in the middle. this means as soon as you press a key the keyboard will begin recording.

(4) to delete a track just hold rec and #1 again until it flashes, but DO NOT press any key. Instead just press rec again and it will record nothing but silence!

(5...) the tempo/metronome is a very useful feature too, I will let you figure that one out on your own.

So to Record in a net shell:

FIRST TRACK, FIRST SONG::::;

SCROLL WHEEL TO > SONG ONE

HOLD > REC + 1 (UNTIL SCREEN FLASHES)

PRESS > ANY KEY TO BEGIN RECORDING

PRESS > REC WHEN FINISHED

SECOND TRACK:::::

HOLD > REC + 2 UNTIL SCREEN FLASHES

RINSE AND REPEAT FOR UP TO 5 TRACK!

***BONUS***

HOLD > REC + A (TO RECORD A DRUM TRACK)
